Beacon Robot Secures First Prize at the 2025 Robotics Skills Competition

From December 26 to 30, 2025, the "Intelligence Drives the Future, Technology Leads the World" Robotics Skills Competition and Grand Final Awards Ceremony, hosted by Xinhua News Agency, was successfully held. The event spotlighted cutting-edge applications and industrial implementation of robotics technologies. Organized in collaboration with government bodies, universities, and enterprises, the competition aims to deepen the integration of industry, academia, research, and application ("IARU" integration) and foster closer synergy between robotics innovation and the real economy.
The competition featured six core tracks:
- Intelligent Warehouse & Logistics
- High-Precision Industrial Assembly
- Healthcare & Elderly Care
- Low-Altitude Integrated Innovation
- EOS Robotics Innovation
- Humanoid Robot Artistic Performance
Emphasis was placed on practicality, innovation, and commercial viability, with a strong focus on validating technological advancements in real-world industrial scenarios.
As a manufacturer of intelligent Material Handling Robots,Beacon Robot's participation in the "Intelligent Warehouse Logistics Robot System" competition aligns precisely with its core technological strengths. At the competition site, the Beacon Robot team vividly demonstrated the core advantages of robotic system through live demonstrations and dynamic explanations. The team leader highlighted the robots' "adaptive dynamic planning" capability: "Our robots not only achieve millimeter-level positioning accuracy through multi-sensor fusion but also autonomously plan optimal paths by sensing complex environmental changes in real time. In the demonstrated dense warehouse scenario, the system successfully handled dual challenges—simulated order surges and dynamic obstacle interference—boosting overall efficiency by over 40% compared to traditional solutions." Beyond precise navigation, multi-robot coordination, and dynamic obstacle avoidance, the solution demonstrated outstanding performance in operational efficiency, system stability, and scenario adaptability, earning unanimous recognition from review experts and industry representatives.
During the finals segment, Zhou Weiling, Marketing Director of Beacon Robot, took the stage as a corporate representative to deliver a presentation. She systematically outlined the company's development philosophy and competitive advantages across three dimensions: technical architecture, product portfolio, and industrial applications. She shared several successful case studies: "In the automotive manufacturing sector, our robots have operated reliably for over a year in parts distribution at three leading automakers. In the wire and cable industry, we achieved automated material storage and retrieval for complex cable reels/electromagnetic wires and cumbersome reel-changing processes, ensuring "zero damage" and "high safety" in material handling. At an electric motor manufacturer, our material handling robots reduced production line material delivery cycles from 2 hours to 45 minutes, significantly boosting production efficiency. Additionally, we have successfully implemented solutions across diverse material handling scenarios including 3C electronics, lithium-ion battery manufacturing, power grids, rail transportation, and printing plants."

The judging panel conducted a comprehensive evaluation across multiple dimensions, including technological innovation, practical application effectiveness, commercialization potential, and team collaboration. The final award recipients were determined by combining the panel's assessment with votes from government bodies, enterprises, universities, and industry organizations. Beacon Robot secured the top prize in the Intelligent Warehouse Logistics Robot Systems category by winning broad support through its highly integrated hardware-software solutions, deep understanding of complex warehouse scenarios, and rapidly deployable commercialization model.
"We have always believed that robotics must be rooted in practical needs and serve industrial upgrading," stated the Marketing Director of Beacon Robot at the awards ceremony. "This recognition fully affirms our technological approach and product philosophy. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our expertise in Intelligent Warehousing And Logistics, collaborating with upstream and downstream partners to propel the industry toward greater efficiency, flexibility, and intelligence."
Guided by the "Smart Manufacturing Powerhouse" strategy, the robotics industry is emerging as a pivotal force driving the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing. This competition not only provides a premier platform for industry showcase and exchange but also sparks innovative vitality among enterprises, universities, and research institutions. Beacon Robot's award win not only demonstrates its technological prowess in intelligent logistics but also sets an exemplary model for the industry—one characterized by technology-driven innovation, scenario implementation, and industrial collaboration.
