Warm Welcome to Maidelin National Distributor Study Tour Visiting Beacon Robot for Guidance and Exchange

On February 16, Suzhou Beacon Robot Technology Co., Ltd. hosted a grand visit and exchange event, welcoming nearly 600 national distributors from Maidelin for an in-depth facility tour and technical guidance session. This event not only served as a comprehensive showcase of our corporate image but also acted as a high-caliber demonstration of our technological strength. It was designed to address critical pain points in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry—such as the challenges of managing diverse product specifications, complex inventory handling, low distribution efficiency, and difficulties in data acquisition—while exploring broader strategic cooperation opportunities.

Facility Tour & Process Demonstration

Accompanied by company leadership and colleagues, the tour provided a detailed, step-by-step demonstration of our end-to-end warehouse operations for the retail and FMCG sectors.

Inbound Process

• Notification & Transfer:Upon receiving the inbound notification, AGV/AMR units transport goods from the inbound transfer point to the staging area.
• Data Capture:Operators use handheld PDA devices to input material information directly into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Storage Allocation:The location management system allocates storage positions.
• Automated Handling:A high-reach AMR forklift then performs the storage operation, simultaneously providing real-time feedback on the inbound status and commanding the AGV to return to the standby zone.

Outbound Process

• Task Initiation:When an outbound task is received, the location management system identifies the goods pending shipment and determines their exact locations.
• Goods Retrieval:The high-reach AMR forklift retrieves the specified items and places them at a designated outbound stacking area.
• Material Transfer:A flatbed AMR forklift then transports the goods to the inbound/outbound staging area.
• Final Dispatch:Finally, an outdoor counterbalanced AMR forklift transfers the items to the transfer point for dispatch.

Unmanned Forklift Systems:
Beacon Robot’s unmanned forklift systems are engineered for both indoor and outdoor operations, featuring:

• A rapid charging cycle of 2 hours with an operational duration of 6–8 hours.
• Integrated manual and automated operation modes.
• Standard equipment including multi-line LiDAR SLAM and vision-based pallet recognition technology, which significantly enhances both transport safety and operational efficiency.

Intelligent Material Handling Robots:
Our intelligent robots employ advanced laser navigation for precise positioning, eliminating the need for site modifications. Key features include:

• Smart Scheduling & Deployment:Seamless integration with diverse production lines for dynamic deployment, path planning, and traffic management (covering waiting, yielding, re-routing, and reversing maneuvers).
• Comprehensive Monitoring:Real-time state monitoring and automated charging management.
• Versatile Operation:Support for cross-floor and cross-factory operations with multi-model hybrid scheduling.
• Enhanced Safety & Flexibility:Configurable safety buffer zones, intelligent obstacle avoidance switching, emergency stop reset functions, and seamless manual-to-automatic mode transitions.
• System Integration:Real-time interfacing with both WMS and RMS systems to receive transport instructions and material information, ensuring transparent and intelligent handling of inventory flows.
