Continuous Improvement: TraceRobotics' Commitment to High-Quality Unmanned Handling Equipment

2025-07-17

As a leading domestic manufacturer of unmanned handling robots, TraceRobotics adheres to lean and standardized production processes to provide customers with high-quality, highly reliable intelligent handling solutions. Every step of the production and assembly process is meticulously controlled to ensure the exceptional performance of each device.

I. Standardized Production Process: Full Control from Materials to Finished Products

TraceRobotics has established a comprehensive equipment assembly and production process, covering nine key steps from material requisition to final packaging and storage:

  1. Material Requisition: Strictly follows the BOM (Bill of Materials) for classified material retrieval. Mechanical assemblers must verify, label, and confirm secondary processing to ensure a "zero-error" start.
  2. Mechanical Assembly: Includes precise assembly of the device's main frame, electrical modules, and motion modules. All load-bearing screws are marked for confirmation.
  3. Electrical Assembly: Utilizes third-generation highly integrated controllers, featuring more rational wiring layouts and easier module connections.
  4. Device Debugging: Covers 12 system debugging tasks, including industrial computer flashing, motion control board programming, and navigation laser connection.
  5. Process Inspection: Each vehicle's buttons and 18 functions are verified one by one.
  6. On-Site Inspection: Includes version confirmation, camera positioning configuration, gyroscope calibration, and nine other parameter validations.
  7. Scenario Testing: Simulates the customer's actual environment for full business process testing.
  8. Packaging and Storage: Follows strict standards for appearance cleaning and protective packaging.

II. Third-Generation Controller: Breakthrough Upgrades in Wiring Technology

In the assembly of the latest-generation controller, our engineering team has achieved several innovative improvements:

- 60% Increase in Integration: Optimized circuit design reduces external connection points, significantly enhancing overall reliability.

- Modular Wiring Design: Color-coded and standardized interfaces improve installation efficiency by 40%.

- Smart Wiring Management: Innovative wire channel designs and fixation methods ensure neat and orderly wiring for easier maintenance.

- Dual Safety Checks: All power circuits undergo continuity and insulation tests after wiring is completed.

III. Dual Inspection System: The Final Defense for Quality Control

To ensure the quality of every device leaving the factory, we have implemented a strict Process Inspection + On-Site Inspection dual-check system:

- Process Inspection verifies the vehicle's buttons and functions within a specified time frame.

- On-Site Inspection confirms and modifies the vehicle's parameters within a set time, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and completeness.

IV. Scenario Testing: Adapting Devices to Real-World Environments

Unlike simple functional tests, our Scenario Testing fully simulates the customer's actual working conditions:

  1. Test scenarios are built based on the customer's real environment.
  2. Network configuration and dispatching system integration are performed.
  3. Complex business processes, such as automatic charging and elevator coordination, are executed.
  4. Positioning accuracy and task response times are validated.

Only devices that pass uninterrupted scenario stress tests receive factory approval. This approach aims to expose potential issues during testing and resolve them all in the production phase.

V. A Culture of Continuous Quality Improvement

We have established a comprehensive project management dashboard, where each project undergoes:

- Process Failure Factor Analysis

- Potential Risk Assessment (scored across controllability, repeatability, and impact dimensions)

- Targeted Countermeasure Development

- Improvement Effectiveness Tracking
